I got out for bit after work yesterday to take a walk and make some pictures. It was a beautiful evening with bright sunshine and a blue sky filled with billowy clouds but it was no surprise I ended up in the woods as they just seem almost magical somehow and are one of my favorite places to be. Be sure to click the images for a larger view. You'll appreciate them much more that way.
This was the entrance that beckoned me to, "Come on in". You can see the path down below on the forest floor. Shimmers of light coursing through the trees highlight bits and pieces here and there. The top photo that begins this post is an example of that light breaking in on the darkness to show what lies within.
This bridge actually leads deeper into the woods so when I saw it on my screen I named it the bridge to wonderland in my head. It was also after crossing this bridge that I captured the photo that begins this post which I happen to like a lot.
This is the scene I was greeted with when finally coming out of the woods. Hope you enjoy and come back again. Would love to hear your comments.
